Carnivorous. Eating small prey such as rats to gazelles,impalas, gnus and young zebra.

Description

Each dog has a unique pattern of black, white and brown patches. The skin is black in colour.

Habitat loss, diseases spread by domestic dogs and road kills are some of the problems facing this species.
