| This exhibit was created in Spring 2000. It has been designed to hold two species of mongoose in the same area - the yellow mongoose and the meerkat. Both species can be found sharing the same burrow systems in the wild but we believe that this is the first time that they have been introduced together in a captive environment. | ||||
